About these videos

Filing a formal UWC complaint can be challenging. It’s usually very rewarding and empowering, too, but there’s no denying – at times it’s pretty hard. Getting good support from a close friend can make a big difference.

As CCEs, we know there are a lot of resources online already about the UWC: the UWC procedures, the explanations on the SHARE site, the Sexual Misconduct Response at Yale options charts. And, of course, all of the administrators involved are always available to answer questions, as are deans, coaches, and other faculty and staff.

Still – sometimes you want to get your explanations directly from another student. That’s why we made these videos. A group of us worked together to design the project, then reached out to administrators and other students to help make it happen. Special thanks to Kimberly Goff-Crews, University Secretary and Vice President for Student Life, who funded the project!
